Compare Credit Cards and Save
I really feel I need to start this month’s edition of everyday money saving tips by congratulating you. I must say, I’m really impressed to see that such a large majority of readers of the Assured Informer are interested in saving money and are not only reading my tips but taking action once each month to save money. Good on you!
This month I’d like to encourage you to embrace the philosophy “compare and save”. So this month, let’s take some time out to compare and save on something I’m sure you all have… that plastic fantastic credit card. Gone are the days where you need to have all your savings accounts, loans, credit cards and the like all tied up with one institution to try and save a little bit of money. The internet has made it incredibly easy to manage our money with little fuss on-line, and with set and forget systems like direct debits, we can easily shop around for the best credit card no matter who it’s with and make payments with little fuss.
So what’s the best way to compare? Obviously contacting every provider of credit cards in Australia would be a huge investment of your time and I really don’t like making suggestions that waste your time. So once again I find utilising the internet offers the best option to quickly and easily compare credit cards.
I’ve reviewed a large range of comparison websites and found that www.creditcardoffers.com.au appears to offer the largest range of providers and credit cards for comparison all in one spot.
This site specialises in comparing only credit cards and is an Australian owned and operated company which I believe is very important. Their comparison service is free and even provides you with access to secure online credit card applications.
Take a look at an example of their site below;
I found if you scroll right down to the bottom of their site and click on ‘compare credit cards’ you’ll be presented with a large list of cards to compare. You can also take a look at what each lender has to offer by clicking on their name in the left hand column.
By clicking on their tool bar at the top, you can review credit cards based on what’s important to you, whether that’s low interest balance transfer, no annual fee, having a good rewards system, frequent flyer points and you can also compare debit cards.
Whichever way you choose to navigate around their site I’m sure you’ll agree it’s much easier than trying to find out all the information by yourself. Hey, if someone’s already done the work for you, why not take advantage of it!
For your reference other sites I reviewed were;
www.creditcard.com.au
www.creditcards.com.au
www.finder.com.au
www.creditcardcompare.com.au
www.comparecreditcardsaustralia.com.au/
As I mentioned, I personally found www.creditcardoffers.com.au to offer the largest range and easy navigation but it’s completely up to you which site you find best for your needs and ease of use.
As I always say, each time you read this article, create a new everyday habit and you’ll simply never stop saving money.
Why not stop right now and find out how much your credit card is costing you and then look online to see if there’s a better option for you. It won’t take long, but it could save you quite a bit each year.
Why not put the money back in your pocket instead of your lenders.
Thanks for reading and happy saving!
